Vertigo: suspended time, continuous movement. Water well, swing, wind, squeak. In the center, the body; its weight and the impulse activate the movement; its opaque mass generates reflections and shadows. Contiguous gestures. Things mix together under the sun and over the water. Dynamics and grace. To renew the old, childhood belongings. Simple play to invent a time.

Milena Travassos (Recife, PE, Brazil / 1976) is a visual artist, researcher and teacher. PhD in Communication. Her production involves installations, videos, performances, photographs, objects and drawings. In her works she transforms her body into strange characters.
